Nagaland State Cooperation Department signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with B-Logic Infotech Private Limited on Monday at the Secretariat, Kohima.
Managing Director represented B-Logic Infotech Private Limited while commissioner and secretary cooperation department, L. Akato Sema represented the state government.
The MoU was signed as per the directive of the central government to digitize primary agri cooperative society to bring transparency in the working system of societies.
As per the directive, the Central government will not sanction funds unless the Primary Agri Cooperative Society (PACS) was digitized, said David Kire, Consultant of Investment Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN).
He said B-Logic will source the funds and will implement the project on computerization of PACS.
IDAN facilitated the signing of MoU between the state government and the B-Logic.
