Angami Gazetted Officers’ Krotho (AGOK) has strongly condemned the physical assault with intent to murder against one of its members, EAC Sakraba, Abeinuo Jasmine Ashao by a staff member at Pfütsero on March 12.
A press release from Angami Gazetted Officers’ Krotho president, Dr. Kedozeto Punyu and general secretary, Megolhou Dolie stated that Angami Gazetted Officers’ Krotho viewed the incident as a very serious and condemnable act, emanating from a government employee, against his own controlling officer, who acted sincerely and honestly to correct a wrongdoing by a government servant. The Angami Gazetted Officers’ Krotho also expressed its deep resentment at the granting of bail and subsequent release of the culprit Vibi Mero and urged the competent authorities to revoke the bail order and to mete out appropriate action towards the culprit at the earliest.
