Deputy Commissioner Longleng, M. Shayung Phom has asked all the citizens of Longleng district to refrain from spreading any unsolicited rumours relating to COVID-19 in social media and other mass print media with immediate effect.
If anyone is found creating/spreading any fake news/message and rumours in social media and other mass media, he/she will be penalized as per the relevant sections of the law, DC stated.
