Panel for relief packages in Dmu

Following the state home department directive for distribution of relief to daily wage earners and labourers in the district, the deputy commissioner (DC) Dimapur has set up a committee for identification of beneficiaries and distribution of relief packages.
The committee consists of executive magistrates as convener and sector commanders, GB, chairman of village/colony, women representative of village/colony, youth representative of village/colony, one NGO representative of village/colony as members.
The committee would identify the beneficiaries and submit the list within two days from the date of issue of order. 
In view of the lockdown, DC stated that all economic and commercial activities have come to a standstill. DC said a relief pack of essential commodities like rice, dal, m oil, sugar etc would be given to 11,000 beneficiaries under Dimapur district to mitigate the hardships being faced by the daily wage earners and labourers. Beneficiaries would have to produce their Aadhaar or voter ID card or any other government ID with photo, sign with receipt as per format and their photographs along with the supplied packet would be taken in a mobile phone or digital camera and the collected photos would be transferred into a pendrive and kept for record to be submitted to NSDMA.
