In a shocking incident, an abandoned newly born male child was discovered inside a drain in Dimapur stadium, Sunday afternoon. A video that went viral on social media showed the new born baby wrapped in a plastic bag and left abandoned in a drain. According to Dimapur police PRO Relo T Aye, the cries of the baby, presumably sired by local parent(s) attracted the attention of some people who discovered that it came from the baby inside a bag. Sources said that the baby was later admitted to the same hospital (NICU), where it was reportedly delivered.
