Shamator Battalion of Assam Rifles assisted civil administration in restoring Noklak -Tuensang road, disrupted due to a major landslide on June 22, due to heavy and incessant rainfall. According to PRO HQ IGAR (N), the road being the only lifeline used by residents from the two towns required to be cleared urgently to enable the movement of essential supplies.
