CIH conducts online trainings on various horticultural aspects

Central Institute of Horticulture (CIH), DAC & FW, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, GOI, Medziphema conducted online trainings through MeetApp on various aspects of horticulture on June 12, 23 and 30.
A press release from CIH Medziphema stated that, trainings covered various topics. Professor & head of Floriculture & Landscape Architecture, NAU, Gujarat, Dr. Alka Singh delivered lecture along with practical demonstration on flower arrangement and its value addition. Principal scientist, ICAR-CSSRI, RRS Lucknow, Dr. T. Damodaran, trained on bio-enhancers and bio-pesticides for organic vegetable production system in North Eastern Region. Technical staff from CIH, senior technical assistant Marina and horticulture specialist Meribeni Shitiri also delivered trainings.
Dy. commissioner, DAC & FW-cum-director CIH, Dr. N.K. Patle also held interaction with participants along with the invited resource persons and technical experts. Altogether 74 participants attended the online training session.
