CMO Mokokchung holds 1st quarterly dist review meet

Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Mokokchung held its first quarterly district review meeting on Friday at the Conference Hall of CMO Mokokchung office.

A press release by CMO office stated that chairperson of the meeting, Chief Medical Officer Mokokchung, Dr. R Chubala Aier welcomed participants and newly appointed medical officers from different health units.

At the meeting, deputy CMO Mokokchung, Dr. Kibangkumba, requested all health workers to create public awareness on ‘social stigma’ related to COVID-19.

DVPO, Dr. Tiasunep directed surveillance workers to collect as much slides as possible for any fever related cases to check the outbreak of malaria. 

The release said the direction was given in connection to the recent outbreak of malaria in Imphal (Manipur).  

DPO (UIP&RCH) Mokokchung, Dr. Ayangla also urged ASHAs and ASHA co-ordinators to utilize the mobilization fortnight to make the public aware of the basket of choices for the upcoming world population day.

The meeting attended by programme officers, SMOs, MOs, NHM and DAPCO staffs also reviewed different activities and grievances of the health units.
