In order to stop further spread of COVID-19, Peren district administration has expanded the containment zones in the district. In addition to the existing containment zones, ADC Peren Moa Sangtam has declared community quarantine centres at Mpai (New) village and Kezanglwa village as containment zones.
This was in view of detection of COVID-19 positive cases among those sent for quarantine, a DIPR report stated.
