
The fraternity of CANSSEA has expressed deep sorrow at the demise of late T. Tarep, who was a founding member and also the first president of CANSSEA till December 7, 1990 at Mokokchung on July 11.
A condolence note by CANSSEA president, Dr. Tali Imsong stated that, late T. Tarep was the elected convener of the committee that established the first combined State Employees Association with the nomenclature All Nagaland Service Association (ANSA) subsequently changed to the Confederation of All Nagaland State Service Employees Association (CANSSEA) on June 21, 1989.
CANSSEA stated that, late T. Tarep joined the state service in the year 1956 under the state government of Assam and retired in 1989 as deputy secretary under the state government of Nagaland.
While his contribution towards the association and the welfare of state government employees shall always be remembered, the CANSSEA stated that it has lost a visionary.
Fraternity of CANSSEA conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and pray for the departed soul to rest in Heavenly Peace.
