DC Dimapur informs on relief for beneficiaries: Deputy commissioner and chairman, DDMA Anoop Khinchi has informed concerned State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) applicants under Dimapur district applied through Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), Home department Nagaland that the approved beneficiaries list has been displayed in the DDMA cell of the deputy commissioner office Dimapur. DDMA Dimapur is set to release relief for only Agri & allied and other items damaged by disaster during the year 2017-18. The relief distribution in Dimapur district for beneficiaries shall commence from July 15, whereby beneficiaries in the approved list have been informed to submit their 2 photocopy of aadhar and 2 recent passports while claiming the relief. Beneficiaries are to come in person to claim the relief.
DC Mokokchung allows shops to open: Deputy commissioner (DC) Mokokchung Limawapang Jamir in an order has allowed opening of shops on all working days except Sunday till further order. The market timing in Mokokchung has been fixed between 7 a.m to 3 p.m. Further the directives issued on May 4 by DC office for category of shops to open shall continue as per the directives notified. Order further cautioned that any person/group acting in violation of the said order shall be deemed to have committed an offence punishable under section 188 of the IPC.
