DC Mon informs on truck movement: Deputy commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K has informed that all trucks coming from Assam carrying essential commodities will be permitted to enter Mon district only on Wednesday and Friday i.e August 5 and 7. The samples of the drivers and handymen will be collected for RT-PCR Testing at Tizit before proceeding to Mon. Any persons found violating this order will be penalised under provisions of the law.
LCD friendship day: Leo Club of Dimapur (LCD) along with Leo Club of Guwahati Girls (LCGG) hosted a virtual event on the eve of friendship day. Five artistes’ comprising of violinist, flutist, two singers and a rapper performed at the event. The event was headed by Abhishek Atal, LCD and Megha Kundalia, LCGG under the leadership of Vishal Patni, LCD and Nehal Jain, LCGG.
