Calcutta Diocesan Mission Education Board (CDMEB) organised first session of academic development e-lecture series organised by Diocesan Mission Education Board, Bhilai, hosted by St. Thomas, IQAC, Bhilai and Christian College of Engineering and Technology (CCET), Durg on August 7, on Google meet.
A press release by MGM College Dimapur media cell stated that resource person, Rishikesh KB, assistant professor, School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy Central Camp, Christ University, Bangalore spoke on the topic “up-skill and upscale”.
He shared that up-skill and upscale were preparatory means for coping effectively with modern life challenges and maintained that since the use of AI has entered contemporary classroom teaching, there was a need for educators to work on technological up gradation.
Meanwhile, principal, Rev. Fr. Dr. Shibu Varghese along with teaching faculty of MGM College, Dimapur attended the e-lecture which was attended by over 60 participants.
Earlier, the meeting was compèred by Dr. Shiney Mendonce, welcome address by Dr. MG Roymon, principal, St. Thomas College, Bhilai, vote of thanks by Dr. Vinita Thomas, dean academics, while Dr. Joseph Mar Dionysius addressed the meeting by stressing on the importance and dynamics of education in this generation. The webinar will continue till August 10.
