A coordination meeting between CMO and MS staffs of District Hospital Tuensang was held on September 5, in regard to COVID-19 activities during the past six months.
A press release by DMO Tuensang, Apheang stated that, meeting discussed on separate untied fund provided for BSL-2 lab to be utilised when needed. Regarding separate quarter arrangemenst for health workers in Sedem Quarantine Centre, the persons responsible and working in the lab have been informed to submit line listing on time. It was also decided that TrueNat machine will be used in the same old place itself but the sample collection can be submitted to the lab.
CMO staff also requested MS, to provide at least six manpower from the District Hospital for the sample collection.
HA, Holichem, also highlighted on manpower utilisation on COVID-19 duty starting from March till date, including the health workers from medical officers to IV grade staff from vertical programmes. Data manager Temjen also said that the team have completed “swab collection” for the fourth round. CMO also encouraged everyone to coordinate and work together for the betterment of the district. Meeting was attended by CMO, MS, doctors and nurses from District Hospital, NHM and IDSP staffs.
