An online faculty development programme cum orientation on “online teaching tools” was organised by the IQAC of Modern College, Kohima on August 27 for the staff of Modern College, Modern Institute of Teacher Education and Modern Academy.
A press release by the college informed that the speaker, assistant professor, Dr. K.S. Sajan from NSS Training College Ottapalam, Kerala, deliberated on tools like Google Classroom, Jamboard, Nearpod, Openboard, Yawcam, Quizizz etc. Programme was organized with the intent of E-knowledge enhancement for better online interaction and learning process due to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.
The programme was moderated by assistant professor, S. Anthony and was attended by 50 participants from the three sister educational entities of Modern Society of Education.
