Department of Computer Science, St. Joseph University, Dimapur, conducted two-day international webinar on video editing on September 10 and 11.
A press release by PRO SJU, Fr. Savari stated that in his keynote address, registrar, Dr. J Robert Edwin Chester highlighted the importance of learning and keeping abreast of evolving modern technology and advanced video editing techniques. Resource person, corporate trainer and freelancer, Dr. D Samson explained the basics of multimedia editing. Head of department, Dr. S. Pradeep Kumar Kenny maintained that computer science being a vast field, all techniques and technologies cannot be taught through prescribed curriculum. Invocation was pronounced by Fr. L. Anish, co-ordinator of the webinar, assistant professor, computer science, P. Deepak explained the purpose of webinar in detail while students of BCA, Mendan Konyak, Langshen, Kevithuvol Rhetso and Yimkumer Pongen hosted the webinar. Programme was attended by over 150 attendees from different countries and from 15 states of India.
