State-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) slashed diesel prices by 14-15 paise across the metros for the fifth consecutive day on Monday even though globally crude prices remained steady.
In the national capital, diesel was priced at Rs 71.43 per litre, down from Rs 71.58 on Sunday.
After today’s rate revision, diesel price in Dimapur was lowered to Rs.77.34 per litre while in Kohima diesel price was decreased to Rs.78.05 per litre.
