ADC Jalukie, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang has notified that in view of the detection of COVID-19 positive persons through TrueNat screening test and in order to take preventive measures to contain the spread, some houses have been sealed.
According to DIPR report, H/No. 36 located at New Jalukie village is sealed with effect from October 7, till further order and H/No. 80 located at Kedime colony (Ward. 5) under Jalukie town jurisdiction has been sealed for 48 hours with effect from October 7.
ADC Peren also informed that H/No. 336 B located at Ndining ward under Peren town has been sealed with effect from October 7 till further order.The public have been advised to follow all safety precautions, especially within the proximity of the sealed area.
Any persons violating the orders will be liable to be proceeded as per the provisions of section 51-60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 besides legal actions under section-188 of the IPC.
