Training on oyster mushroom cultivation for women was conducted at Longkhim town, organized by Tuensang district administration and District Level Centre for Women (DLCW)-MSK under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) on October 23.
A press release by MSK Tuensang district coordinator, Niamkoi stated that, ADC Longkhim Kiukumsungla Jamir highlighted a brief introduction on BBBP. She also appraised the gathering to give equal importance for skill development towards self-reliance, sustainable livelihood and to put into action and starts from one’s own kitchen. Women welfare officer, DLCW, Songmao. M, gave a presentation on oyster mushroom cultivation and detailed information to produce healthy organic products. Approximately 25 women folk participated in the training.
