Namgalong Rongmei Colony Council (NRCC) held its annual general meeting at panchayat hall, Namgalong Rongmei Colony, Burma Camp, Dimapur on October 24.
A press release by NRCC stated that, during the meeting, council secretary gave annual report on council activities, women organization report by president Sanaru Kamei, and youth organization report by secretary NYO Ganthaolung Gonmei. Various issues were discussed at length pertaining to colony development, membership, fund, household census and precisely jubilee committee was also constituted.
Election/selection of new team of office bearers was also conducted under the sessional chairman CP Gonmei and sessional secretary Houthairong Longmei. The new team of office bearers for 2020-25 is led by chairman Makuran Rongmei, secretary Jenpu Rongmei along with three others, ten executive members and three auditors.
Earlier, invocation was pronounced by Kamphun Kamei, and welcome address by Makuran Rongmei, colony vice chairman. Vote of thanks was delivered by Gaithaorong Kamei, ex-secretary.
