Monitoring and supervision visit at health units in Longleng

RCH/UIP and RBSK Longleng conducted monitoring and supervision visit at Pongching, Hukphang villages, Namching HWC and Bhumnyu sub-centre and Tangha HWC from October 22 to 27. 

A press release by CMO office, district media officer Roseline stated that, during the visit, a short meeting was organised in all the villages and the health units for the ASHAs, health workers and village chairman. 

Dr Imnameren Phom (DPO RCH/UIP) spoke on how to conduct VHNDs in the villages during the COVID pandemic following the SOPs, and how to track the immunization drop outs and reduce the drop outs, how to avail the incentives and how to track the high risk pregnancies and the importance of ANC trimester registration. 

Routine immunization was also monitored and supervised, incentives were given to the ASHAs who submitted the full and complete immunization reports. 

RBSK team conducted screening for children born with birth defects, developmental delays, deficiency and diseases in children, where few cases like club foot, cleft lip, skin conditions, dental carriers were found. The team also attended VHND at Pongching village. 

Team was led by Dr Imnameren Phom DPO (RCH/UIP), Dr Lirenthung Khuvung MO RBSK, Dr Suimzenla MO RBSK, Dr Sungtiben Amlari DPM (QA), VCCM, DCM, BPM, DEO(UIP), co-ordinator RBSK, and district media officer.
