
Election Commission of India (ECI) has ordered re-polling in two polling stations under 60 Pungro-Kiphire assembly constituency on November 7, 2020.
In a statement, Nagaland chief electoral officer, Abhijit Sinha stated that the Election Commission of India, on the basis of the reports submitted, and after taking all material circumstances into account, declared the November 3 polling in two polling stations– 11 Singrep and 8 Kipongya ward ‘A’ Kiphire town under 60 Pungro-Kiphire assembly constituency as void.
In this regard, the EC on Thursday announced fresh polls in the two polling stations on November 7 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
