National Testing Agency (NTA) would be conducting All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination-2021 (AISSEE) on January 10, 2021, for admissions to classes VI and IX in 33 Sainik Schools spread across 23 states and one union territory. Process of online applications which started on October 20, would close on November 19 whereby candidates are required to submit their applications after registering on the website.
Academic session 2021-22 would include reservation in admission for OBC-NCL category, and girl candidates are now eligible for admission to vlass VI in all 33 Sainik Schools. Admission would be based on performance of candidates in written exam; school-wise, class-wise, category-wise rank in merit list; medical fitness as approved by competent medical authorities and verification of original documents.
