Four people from Longleng district died on the spot and two critically injured in a mishap near Balipathar, Karbi Anglong district on Monday.
According to reports, the incident took place when a Dimapur bound Tata Sumo from Longleng collided head-on with a truck (AS 021-7654).
The deceased have been identified as Phuksham Phom, Kanted Phom, Yongkai Phom, all from Hukphang village and the driver Apong Phom from Pongching village.
Meanwhile, the injured were rushed to Bokajan Civil Hospital for medical aid.
