Dimapur Tribal Hoho Forum (DTHF) has directed its respective councillors not to attend the “so called NCD proposed meeting”, which has been convened on January 27, since it would amount to contempt of court.
The decision was made during its meeting held on January 25 at Tourist Lodge Dimapur, attended by 12 tribes out of 19, the forum said.
The members also deliberated the Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) issue and agreed in principle the report and recommendation submitted by the peace committee report after detail deliberation for implementation. It also resolved to convene the meeting of all councillors and tribal hoho forum members. The forum also selected Zhato Angami as the sessional convenor and Wanthang Rengma as the sessional secretary of DTH.
Meanwhile, the meeting began with obituary reference to Ghokheto Chophy, NCD president and members paid respect to the departed Naga leader.
