Junior Christian Youth Endeavour, Union Christian Revival Church, (JCYE, UCRC) New Market, Kohima celebrated its silver jubilee from January 29 to 31 under the theme, “Be strong and work: for I am with you.”
A press release by UCRC stated that, during morning worship service on Sunday, associate pastor of UCRC, Kikrunielie Yiese shard the Word of God. He said that jubilee was a time to look back, to re-examine one’s life, and to renew the faith, so that one may grow towards a deeper Christian life. He also said jubilee was a time to reconcile and celebrate, a time to renew and a time of new beginnings. Main speakers of the jubilee included NCRC ex-secretary central Rev. Dr. D. L. Sanchu, associate pastor KikruneilieYiese and church secretary VetalüKeyho. Earlier, on January 29 jubilee monolith was unveiled by pastor Zhabu Gweirie. The JCYE was established in 1996.
