Mokokchung District GBs Association (MDGBA) officials began with their official tour to six Mokokchung district ranges.
The officials visited Langpangkong range on Tuesday, at Langpangkong GB customary hall, Changtongya town, led by vice president All Nagaland GB Federation and president MDGBA, Along Jamir.
While speaking on the occasion, Along Jamir stated that the GBs were the official governmental appointed agents of a village or any designated place for the governance of the country.
Therefore, he called upon the DB community to play a proactive role, with indignity, to uplift the community by mutually corresponding with village councils and the administration.
Along also shared that Nagaland GB Federation (NGBF) was playing a proactive role in the Naga political peace process as mediator for a common solution.
Earlier, the meeting was chaired by general secretary, GB Imlitemsu.
Later, the GB contingent visited and held a meeting with the Asetkong GB association at community hall, Kobulong.
