Nagaland on Tuesday recorded the highest single-day spike of 207 Covid-19 positive cases this year, taking the total caseload to 13445.
According to Health department, Dimapur alone registered 177 cases, Kohima- 13, Tuensang-9 while Longleng and Mokokchung reported 3 cases each, Mon and Peren one case each. With this the active cases also rose 874.
Meanwhile, one more death was reported on Tuesday, taking the death toll to 99, out of which 89 were Covid-19 related deaths and 10 not Covid related, Health department stated.
