
Wokha District Chamber of Commerce and Industries (WDCCI) Tuesday warned all the business establishments within Wokha district against charging of exorbitant rate and those indulging in hoarding of commodities.
In a press release, WDCCI president Renbithung Kikon and general secretary Abenthung S Ngullie reassured all that there was sufficient stock in the market.
The chamber appealed to the public not to panic over the artificial shortage caused by unscrupulous means. WDCCI also directed all the business establishments to maintain the MRPs of the commodities and to maintain the rate approved by Wokha Town Council (WTC) on various commodities. The chamber warned that any person found violating the directives would be booked under relevant sections of the law.
Further, the public have been requested to report to the WDCCI office if any unfair trade practices were found.
