Under the initiative of Mokokchung District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), a new video, titled “hope for every child” was launched, Thursday, at the DCPU Office by Mokokchung EAC, Sentilong.
While launching the video, Sentilong acknowledged how such initiative for the protection of children was his maiden experience and that he was fortunate to be a part of the noble cause.
He said that the programme would prove to be a boon, especially for people living in the remote areas who had no access to basic information with regard to child abuse and exploitation
Sentilong further said that launching of the video was a milestone achievement and hoped that it would be a channel to provide “hope to the hopeless”.
Earlier, while delivering the keynote and welcome address, District child protection officer (DCPO), Dr. Moasenla Imchen stated that that the main purpose of the programme was “to reach the unreached”, through social media, during the pandemic. The launching programme was led by Supongsangla.
