Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Zunheboto conducted farmers and scientist interaction programme on May 4, at SDAO office, Akuluto.
The programme was chaired by BTM, Zunheboto block Chubatsur, while DPD ATMA Vikhaho delivered welcome address by informing the farmers on the use of Naga farm doctor app and Kisan Suvidha app for queries on agriculture & allied activities.
Resource persons, Dr. Visakho and Dr. Nongothung from KVK Lumami discussed on the queries raised by farmers on several topics such as damping off in chilli, poor germination in paddy as a result of delay in monsoon as well as fall army worm infestation in maize.
Various control measures and management practices for FAW were highlighted.
Altogether, 20 participants including farmers’ friends, progressive farmers, agriculture & ATMA staffs attended the programme. Vote of thanks was delivered by BTM, Akuluto block Tsuktilemla Ao.
