Mokokchung Press Club (MPC) paid a visit to Fazl Ali College (FAC) on Thursday.
During the discussion, it was revealed that most developmental activities in the college were internally funded without assistance from the government.
The road to the college campus from NH-702 was in a debilitated condition and the building construction funded through Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan scheme implemented by engineering wing of higher education department was incomplete.
FAC was the first government college in the state to be accredited by national assessment and accreditation council in 2009. The college was assessed again and was accredited with Grade B in 2015.
However, it was observed that the college required more in order to get a good score during the NAAC peer team visit.
