
As the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic surge in Nagaland, government of Nagaland and district administrations have continued to issue directives and advisories for the safety of public. Many civil society organisations, churches and other faith-based organisations have also come forward in the fight against the pandemic.
Mokokchung: Deputy Commissioner (DC) and chairman District Task Force (DTF) COVID-19 Mokokchung, Limawapang Jamir along with Superintendent of Police (SP) Mokokchung, Vishal and other officials visited COVID-19 Hospital Mokokchung on May 30. The team interacted with the doctors and health workers on duty in the presence of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Mokokchung, Dr. R Chubala Aier and Medical Superintendent (MS) IMDH, Dr. Limatula Aier.
Active case finding in Mkg: DC and chairman DTF COVID-19 Mokokchung, Limawapang Jamir has informed citizens of Mokokchung that the DTF would be conducting the active case Ffinding for COVID-19 in all the wards of Mokokchung Town on May 31 and June 1.
In this regard, all citizens have been asked to stay at home and refrain from venturing out unless for medical and other emergencies. DC has also asked citizens to cooperate with the medical department and respective ward authorities for the smooth conduct of the exercise.
Zunheboto: Maintaining COVID-19 pandemic protocol, a special prayer was organised Sunday by Zunheboto Town Sumi Baptist Church (ZSTBC) at Zunheboto Town with Town GBs and chairmen of all colonies.
A press statement by ZTSBC informed that ZTSBC (SBAK-Aizuto) Pastor Rev. Dr Daniel Chishi prayed for the frontline workers, COVID victims, COVID patients and others.
In his message, Rev. Dr. Daniel called for cooperation and support in the fight against the virus.
