Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Wokha organised tree plantation campaign under the theme, “Har med par ped” on July 16 at ICAR Research complex for NEH Region, Nagaland Centre in commemoration of 93rd ICAR Foundation Day.
A press release by KVK Wokha informed that at the programme, senior scientist and head in-charge, Dr. Moa highlighted the activities of ICAR in building up the nation as a whole and farmers in particular.
He also stressed on the importance of planting trees in the wake of climatic change that has detrimental effect on the environment. The programme was attended by KVK officials and youths from Okheyan and Longsachung villages.
