As part of “Project Green Sovima”, Team Sovima 21-26 in collaboration with the office of the DFO, Dimapur organised a plantation drive on July 17 along ICFAI University Road.
A press release by the village council informed that the youth of Sovima under the guidance of officials from DFO’s office, Dimapur planted about 1000 saplings of varied species of plants during the plantation drive.
The council informed that youth bodies from the nine Khels under Sovima have been entrusted to undertake jungle clearing and nurturing of the planted saplings every week on rotation basis in the next couple of months.
