
Nagaland governor RN Ravi, chief minister Neiphiu Rio and deputy chief minister Y Patton have extended greetings to the members of the Ao community on the occasion of Tsüngremong festival.
In his message, Ravi said Tsungremong was traditionally celebrated by the Ao people to reinforce their bond of brotherhood and also thanks giving to the God for a bountiful harvest. Ravi urged upon the community specially the youth to imbibe and propagate the values of brotherhood inherent in their festival.
CM: Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio wished happy Tsüngremmong to the Ao community and prayed that the God Almighty’s blessings “continue to be upon the lands and fields that provides for us.”
Dy.CM: State deputy chief minister Y.Patton greeted the Chang and Ao community on the occasion of Nyaknyulum and Tsungrenmong respectively.
Patton said that festivals were inherent part of “our culture that reflects our way of life".
