
Renowned Naga Hindi singer, Ngukavi Zhimo, mostly known by his stage name “NK Naga”, will be performing at the “Bharat Mahotsav”, festival of New India, representing the state of Nagaland.
The festival has been scheduled to be celebrated at Geneva, Switzerland from September 7 to 11, commemorating the 75th year of Indian Independence.
The festival is being organised by “Confluence”, an organization for cultural events, promoting indigenous artistes and women empowerment across the world, in alignment with “Make in India” vision. The festival was previously held at London, UK in 2018 and 2019 and Dubai UAE in 2021.
The event includes fashion shows, exhibition, cultural programmes, business meets, and felicitation ceremonies.
In an interview with Naga, it was learned that he was further to be awarded with the title, “Most talented singer”, by the organization, and also was one amongst the 100 selected singers from 195 countries. In regards to him receiving the award, Naga acknowledged all those who supported him, and appealed to continue to support him morally.
It can be noted that every state would have a representative each for the festival, where Naga received the invitation from the organization to represent Nagaland.
Naga further added that he would be on European tour, performing at London, Switzerland (Bharat Mahotsav), France, Spain and Germany on September.
