Kohima battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (North) organised tree plantation drive under the theme “Clean and Green Nagaland” at Kezo Basa village under Kohima District on October 18.
According to PRO IGAR (N), the aim of the drive was to motivate the villagers and to impart consciousness on environment preservation. A total of 25 people along with Assam Rifles joined the tree plantation drive. 150 saplings of various fruit bearing trees were also distributed.
