Chakhesang Baptist Church Ministers’ Hill (CBCMH) Kohima celebrated “World Sunday School Day” on the theme “Worry not, fear not, have faith in God” on Saturday.
In her sermon, Sunday school superintendent, Akrole Ngachu said that “worry” was a waste of time since focussing on problems and worries would fail in recognising who Jesus was.
Trust and have faith in the Lord. Do not worry about tomorrow for it will worry about itself, she exhorted the children.
Altogether, around 400 children and teachers participated in the programme where the children took part in singing of songs, reciting memory verses and other activities.
Earlier, Sunday school teacher Thsope Medo led the congregation and a special presentation was made by Lütsolü Hesüh, Wephrü-ü Medo, and Lerie Sunday School team.
