
In connection with the construction of NH 61/2 KM 72.40 to KM 83.00, a coordination meeting was held in the conference hall of the deputy commissioner (DC), Wokha on Thursday in the presence of Dr. Chumben Murry, MLA.
In a press release, NH-61/2 core committee media cell informed that after a thorough deliberation, the DC Wokha presented a written assurance to the committee that the land compensation towards the effected land owners would be dispersed from November 15 and all necessary modalities would follow suit.
In this regard, the core committee has acknowledged the deputy commissioner, responsible department officials and stakeholders for their effort in bringing a positive outcome.
The core committee also appealed to the affected landowners to cooperate with the responsible agency while executing the work at NH- 61/2 (KM 72.40 to 83.00).
It warned that necessary action would be initiated against any individual or group failing to comply with the directives of the core committee.
The committee also urged the responsible agency to strictly adhere to the DPR guidelines while executing the project.
