Rural development minister, Metsubo Jamir inaugurated the newly constructed Ao Morung at Heritage Village, Kisama on November 26.
Speaking as guest of honour, Metsubo appreciated the leaders of the construction committee for their support and cooperation and for successfully completing the Morung in under a week. Advisor, Dr. Nicky Kire also congratulated the Ao community for their hard work and successful completion of the Morung in a short span of time.
The president of the Ao Senden, Kohima Ao Officers Telongjem (KAOT), Kohima Ao Telongjem (KAT), Watsu Union Kohima also spoke in the programme which was attended by minister Tongpang Ozükum, advisor Imnatiba, and presidents of 14 Tribes of Nagaland.
