A video titled “The Precious” was released as part of observing International Day of Persons with Disabilities and 16 days activism to end violence against women with disabilities in Phek on Friday.
Phek Deputy Commissioner (DC), Razouvolie Dozo, officially released the video at his office chamber during a short programme.
In a short remark, DC Phek, expressed his appreciation to the team for coming up with the video which would help in creating awareness for the people.
The concept of the video is aimed at promoting understanding of disability issues and to mobilize support to help alleviate the rights, dignity and well-being of persons with disabilities in every aspect of social, political, economic and cultural life.
The video is an initiative of Phek district administration & DLCW- Mahila Shakti Kendra (BBBP), Phek and was directed by BZ Entertainment Nagaland.
In attendance during the launching were extra assistant commissioner, Phek HQ and nodal officer of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP), Phek Nagaland, Wetsho Lasushe and officials of District Level centre for Women (DLCW)- Mahila Shakti Kendra(MSK).
