Renowned Naga artiste Kekhrie Ringa’s solo debut album “Bohème” was launched on December 13 evening at Room 03, Kuda Village, Dimapur.
Bohème is a unique collection of electro-pop songs with a heavy 80’s retro vibe influence present throughout the album. The album had renowned people from the industry combining to produce a stellar collection of songs. Songwriters Mar Jamir from Polar Lights and Shalo Kent both contributed to the body of work. The album was produced by Infinity Inc. co-founder DJ Ina. DJ Lil Bomb, another Infinity Inc. artist also produced a song for Kekhrie. Also appearing on the album was NV who featured with a verse for the song “Blue Jeans”.
The lady of the hour Kekhrie Ringa graced the occasion by performing two of her songs from the album, “Made for you” and “Bohème”.
The evening began with an introductory speech by CEO of Infinity Inc., Asalie Peseyie, the record label to which Kekhrie Ringa is signed under. Asalie spoke on the relationship between Kekhrie and Infinity Inc. and her journey so far with the company. He also touched on the album making process of “Bohème” and congratulated Kekhrie for completing an amazing project with utmost professionalism.
A music video premiere of “You and I” a single from the album was also premiered, after which a prayer was said by Chakhesang Baptist Church, Seluophe pastor, Musilo, which officially signalled the launch of Kekhrie Ringa’s album.
The evening ended with fans and friends interacting with Kekhrie as the entire collection of her songs were played for the audience.
