Phek District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held on January 18, at its conference hall with Phek Deputy Commissioner and vice chairman, Razouvolie Dozo, as the chairman.
According to DIPR report, new members were introduced, whereby the DC urged them to give their best service for welfare of the people.
SDEO (Education) Chozuba later presented grievances in education and members deliberated on the issues.
In regards to celebration of Republic Day, various departments were assigned with works and informed on Covid-19 SOPs to be maintained. The board further decided to conduct tug of war and penalty shoot-out during the celebration.
Tourism department and Land Record & Survey department were also entrusted to present their departmental activities in the next meeting.
