The NSCN/GPRN (Akato Chophi) has expressed pain at the unfortunate demise of secretary Takotoshi Longkumer, who breathed his last on February 6. In a condolence note, NSCN/GPRN through its MIP said that late Toshi hails from Nokpu village, Mokokchung and a resident of Padumphukri, Dimapur, who served in the ‘Naga National Movement’ under various capacities and through his sincerity, seniority and qualification, rose to the rank of full-fledged secretary.
NSCN/GPRN stated late Toshi, was mostly associated with the Ceasefire Supervisory Board (CFSB) department for the most part of his national service, who was well versed with the CFSB mechanism.
“In his demise, we have lost an experienced comrade, a noble soul and dearest friend and our heart deeply grieves, beyond comprehension at his departure”, it added. The NSCN/GPRN prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
