Nagaland on Sunday recorded 23 fresh Covid-19 positive cases while tow more deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.
Of the fresh cases, 12 were from Kohima, 10 in Dimapur and one in Mokokchung, taking the total caseload to 35196.
Further, two more patients succumbed to the infection in Dimapur, pushing the death toll to 752 (including 4 non-Covid deaths but with positivity).
As on February 13, a total of 1427891 persons had been inoculated against Covid-19 (807389 first dose and 619902 second dose) while 18620 received their booster shot. Altogether, 55885 teenagers have also received their first dose of Covaxin.
India registered 44,877 new cases of Covid-19 in last 24 hours, taking the daily positivity rate marginally down to 3.17 per cent, the Union health ministry bulletin showed on Sunday.
A total of 684 people succumbed to the viral infection in the span of one day, taking the death toll to 5,08,665. The cumulative total infections in the country now stands at 42,631,421, while the active caseload is currently at 5,37,045.
