A book titled “Okina Nsüngrüo Ematha” was released in the Red Cross conference hall, Kohima on Thursday.
The book, which is the second special hard cover print of “Happiness Homemade”, written by Ellen G. White, was translated to Lotha language by Abeni T.C.K. Lotha.
The book was first published in the year 1980 and distributed among the Lotha churches as a resource for building godly families.
Appreciating the tireless effort of the translator, Kohima Lotha Baptist Church, senior pastor, Rev. Benri Lotha expressed hope that the book would help families establish a God-centred home that reflect the values and heart of the Kingdom of God.
In her brief address, the translator narrated her journey of faith as a young wife and mother, who was hungry for the knowledge of God’s word and truth, in her desire to raise a godly family.
After reading the book written by Ellen G. White, she recalled how was realised that the same truth and principles should be made available to her community.
She narrated how the first print was laboriously typed on a typewriter by her late husband, T.C.K. Lotha.
The programme was chaired by C.R. Lotha and a special song was presented by male voice group “Yentsso Von”.
