Deputy Commissioner (DC) Zunheboto has informed that the last date for uploading information with regard to arms license to generate Unique Identification Number (UIN) in the national database of arms license has been extended till March 31, 2023.
In a circular, the deputy comissioner has directed arms license holders under the district without UIN to submit their licenses along with data in the prescribed format to arms branch Deputy Commissioner office, Zunheboto.
Further, the the deputy comissioner has informed that arms licenses should be valid, genuine and issued from the DC office, Zunheboto.
The DC said licensee should procure weapon covered by the arms license; no adverse remarks against the licensee and new arms license would be issued against old arms license with details and UIN generated in NDAL-ALIS.
