With an objective to enhance teaching and learning processes through smart learning and technologies, ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA) Don Bosco implementing SBI Gram Seva programme in Dimapur, inaugurated five smart classrooms, one science lab and one computer lab at various government schools under all five adopted villages— Diezephe, Urra, Bade, Tsithrongse and Khriezephe.
In a press release, AIDA informed that the introduction of smart classrooms was to help increase learning engagement of students for better performance in their academics.
A science lab was established at a government school in Bade village with the objective to inculcate creative thinking among students.
This, AIDA informed, would provide opportunities to access a science lab for rural students not only at Bade village but also the neighboring villages.
At Diezephe village, a computer lab was set up to provide computer education to rural students by training them in courses including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft power point, content developing, internet applications, etc.
Smart classrooms, computer lab and science lab were also inaugurated in the presence of SBI Dimapur and AIDA officials along with officials from various government schools.
