Department of Power has informed that there will be load shedding in Midland Colony, Kohima and its adjoining areas as the 500kVA distribution transformer located at TCP gate has been damaged on June 8.
SDO electrical sub-division No-I Kohima informed that the department arranged a 500KVA transformer and was installed on June 10 by replacing the standby 250KVA transformer, but unfortunately, it also got damaged within hours of charging. Alternatively, the 250KVA standby transformer has been put into service. The department was trying its best to arrange a 500kVA transformer. It therefore, appealed to the affected consumers to bear with the inconvenience.
